It is our pleasure to announce that the application deadline has been extended. The application for the grant is via the RMS V2. Researchers from the fields of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities are invited to apply.

• All project proposals should have a clear statement of the problem to be solved;
• The research is fundamental in nature;
• The research is aligned to one (1) or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals;
• The research is aligned to one (1) or more of the Maqasid Syariah
• The research is aligned to one (1) or more of the Malaysia Madani policy framework;
• The intended impact of the research is clearly stated;
• The budget is appropriate and meets the objectives of the grant.

1. Only ONE (1) application per staff. A minimum of one (1) co-researcher is required;
2. Open to the following who are currently NOT Principal Investigators in Social Science & Arts & Humanities research area:
a) Professor;
b) Associate Professors ;
c) Assistant Professors;
d) Less than 5 years in service
3. The applicant is not on study leave;
4. Proposals associated with the IIUM Flagships may also be submitted, provided they are research-based.
5. Proposals for non–research projects will NOT be entertained.

4 Articles (The articles must be co-authored with researchers from national and international universities, and wherever possible, those from the industry)
