Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a young woman scientist in STEM, preferably within five years of receiving a PhD.

• Have presented or had original research accepted at an international scientific conference or published in international journals.

• Provide proof of acceptance to present original research at an AASSA-recognised international scientific conference.

Award Details

Each award is valued up to USD2,000, reimbursable against:

• Roundtrip economy airfare

• Conference registration fees

• Meals (per diem)

• Accommodation during the conference

Required Documents:

1. Official nomination letter from an AASSA member academy/society

2. Completed application form

3. Conference acceptance letter

4. Self-attested PhD certificate/award

5. Electronic copies or web links to up to three key research papers published in reputable international journals
