HOW TO INCLUDE COMMUNITY PROJECTS IN MyRA 2025

The Research Management Centre (RMC) is pleased to inform you that a new category has been added under MyRepo – MyRA Contribution, namely Knowledge/Technology Diffusion Project / Assimilation (Social Innovation).

Information submitted under this category will be utilised for MyRA Section G6 (Community-Benefiting Projects). Upon successful audit approval, the recorded activities will contribute to your MyRA 6-star individual marks.

You are encouraged to record your projects if you are involved in any of the following roles:

  • Principal Investigator or Project Leader for community-related research or consultancy grants;

  • Course Instructor for Usrah in Action; or

  • Advisor for student club community-based projects.

The criteria outlined in the MyRA glossary are summarised below:

We encourage all academic staff to utilise this platform by depositing details of their community projects, together with the required supporting evidence as specified in MyRepo, no later than 31 December 2025.
