We are excited to announce that applications for the Exploratory and Transformative Research Grant (GET) 2026 are now officially open! This is a premier opportunity to secure funding for high-impact projects that align with the Thirteenth Malaysia Plan (RMK13).
Grant Highlights

Funding: Up to RM250,000 per project.

Duration: 2 or 3 years.

Research Themes:

(a) Shifts in Economic Block Arrangements;

(b) Future Digital & Technological Changes;
-
(c) Demographic Changes & Quality of Life;

(d) Planetary Health Crisis;
-
And three (3) additional research areas:

(e) Education;

(f) National Security; and

(g) Heritage & Local Wisdom.

Eligibility Note:
Sponsored Research under Government: Researchers with active sponsored grants may apply.
MOHE Grants: Researchers with active MOHE grants are ineligible. All MOHE projects must be completed and officially closed before submitting a GET grant application.
